{"id":3498,"date":"2022-05-06T14:42:37","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T13:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/development\/?p=3498"},"modified":"2022-05-06T14:42:37","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T13:42:37","slug":"choose-the-parkinsons-centre-for-integrated-therapy-as-your-charity-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/development\/2022\/05\/06\/choose-the-parkinsons-centre-for-integrated-therapy-as-your-charity-of-the-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Choose the Parkinson&#8217;s Centre for Integrated Therapy as your Charity of the Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The University of Kent is delighted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/parkinsons\/news\/3474\/the-kings-school-canterbury-selects-the-parkinsons-centre-for-integrated-therapy-as-charity-of-the-year\">King&#8217;s School, Canterbury has selected the Parkinson&#8217;s Centre for Integrated Therapy as their Charity of the Year<\/a> and we are now looking for other local companies and organisations to join them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">A Charity of the Year is a partnership between a business and their chosen charity &#8211; we would love this to be us!\u00a0 By working with us you will help to bring hope to people living with Parkinson\u2019s in our local community and beyond whilst letting your clients and contacts know you are making a difference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The relationship can last one or more years and will help the business meet their corporate social responsibility and keep staff morale high with a range of fun fundraising events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">We will be able to provide:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Fundraising support and advice in the build up to your fundraising activity and University of Kent staff attending on the day where possible.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Positive local PR<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Tours of the facilities available at the Parkinson\u2019s Centre for Integrated Therapy<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Talks and demonstrations from the team<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Invitations to University of Kent events<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Access to marketing and fundraising materials<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">An online fundraising page via JustGiving.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sardjv.co.uk\/blog\/2019\/04\/08\/supporting-kmms\">SARD JV<\/a> has formed a charity partnership with the University of Kent and recently organised a quiz (see featured image) to raise funds for the Kent and Medway Medical School raising in excess of \u00a32,000 for the cause.\u00a0 Francesca Monk, Marketing Director said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been working with the University of Kent for two years now and the partnership has been very positive.\u00a0 Our clients like to know that we are supporting doctors of the future and we are proud that we are doing our bit for our community at both a local and national level.
