His lecture is entitled <i>Things can only get better: What\u2019s next for human rights protection in the UK?<\/i> and will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the Human Rights Act. It promises to be an entertaining evening of discussion.<\/p>\n<p>An outspoken commentator on human rights, Jonathan was awarded an OBE for his work in the field in 2001 and received an Honorary Doctorate from Kent this summer.
