The University of Kent’s Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries (iCCi), who are leading on Docking Station project invites individuals, businesses, and community members to leave a lasting legacy through their Make Your Mark campaign.
Set to open in Summer 2026, Docking Station will transform The Police Section House, a heritage building at The Historic Dockyard Chatham, into a new digital facility, with hi-tech studios for digital production, research and innovation with spaces for teaching and business incubation.
The Make Your Mark campaign offers supporters the chance to become part of Medway’s history while helping shape its future.
By naming a brick, staircase step, or window in the heritage building, donors contribute directly to creating a space that will inspire generations to come.
Support Levels
-
Name a Brick (£100): your name or dedication will feature on a beautiful section of historic wall in the heritage building.
-
Step Up for Medway (£500): Name one of the beautiful staircase steps that will inspire countless young people to take their own steps into the future.
-
Window to the Future (£1,000): Your name will adorn a refurbished window, opening a brighter future for the Medway community.
“Docking Station is more than a building; it’s a symbol of Medway’s vibrant future. Through Make Your Mark, supporters can connect their legacy to this incredible transformation,” said YolanDa Brown OBE DL, University of Kent’s Chancellor.
