We are extremely grateful to the Thanet Quilters for their donation of £1,411.13 towards vital equipment for the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy (PCIT) including an exercise bike which will help our members during one to one exercise classes.
Stella Gibbs, a member of both PCIT and the Thanet Quilters, presented the cheque to Professor David Wilkinson at the official opening of the Centre at Woodlands on Tuesday 20th February.
Professor Wilkinson said, “On behalf of the PCIT team, I would like to thank the Thanet Quilters for their extraordinary generosity. Their gift is a beautiful stitch woven into the fabric of our Parkinson’s Centre, providing vital equipment that will enhance the lives of those we support. This incredible kindness is a testament to the power of community and we are truly grateful.”
Thank you to all the members of Thanet Quilters for supporting us in this way.
