On Friday 1st September, we were delighted to welcome two representatives from the Hythe Ladies Probus Club to the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy (PCIT) to receive a cheque for the fantastic amount of £1000 which the Club most kindly raised for the Centre.
Jackie (Chairman) and Sue, from the Club, met with Professor David Wilkinson (PCIT Director), Mark Colley (PCIT Clinical Lead) and Clare Walker (PCIT Administrative Co-ordinator) and were shown around the PCIT facilities, based at the Kent MS Therapy Centre.
We are incredibly grateful to the Club for their support, as PCIT continues to evolve to include a wider range of non drug-based therapies and social opportunities for local people with Parkinson’s.
