On Saturday 11th December we held the Parkinson’s Winter WonderWalk to raise funds for the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy.
Despite the chilly conditions over 50 people (and dogs) took part in the 10km circular route around the University of Kent campus and the city of Canterbury. We celebrated at the finish line with well-earned refreshments including mulled wine and mince pies. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and had some exciting conversations about the future of the Parkinson’s Centre at the University of Kent.
We are very grateful to those who took part and raised money through sponsorship. We are also very thankful to everyone who donated on the day and purchased tickets for our fabulous raffle and tombola prizes. A fantastic £3,100 was raised through this event.
