Frowdicea’s Warriors complete the Pilgrims Way Run to raise funds for the Centre

From all of us at the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Jess Brogan and Sarah Frow, along with their amazing team of friends, for raising vital funds for the Centre by taking part in the Pilgrims Way run, a 14 mile route between Wye and Canterbury.  You are all amazing!

On Sunday 3rd September, one of the hottest days of the year, Jess, Sarah, Helen, Jenny, Melissa, Hayley and Rose set out on this challenge that took them through the beautiful Kent countryside – along rivers, past castles, up hills and into the heart of Canterbury where they enjoyed a well earned picnic!  By taking part in this mammoth event, the team have so far raised the incredible sum of £1,245 to support our work at the Centre.  We are so grateful to the team and those that sponsored them.

If you would like to support them, it’s not too late!  Visit their JustGiving page to make your donation.  Thank you.

Of the experience, Jess said “Running 14 miles was no easy feat, but it was definitely worth it. The sunshine and the beautiful scenery made the experience even more enjoyable and knowing that I was raising money for such a worthy cause made it all the more satisfying. I would definitely do it again!  On behalf of the team, I would like to thank our amazing support crew (Mike, George, David, Annabel, Elsa and Natalie) who provided water and fuel at Chilham and the fabulous welcoming committee at Chaucer’s monument.”

Thank you again Team Frowdicea – your support will make a huge difference to our members.

If you would like to take on a personal challenge whether it be running, cycling, abseiling, parachuting or even bungee jumping, please get in touch to discuss the support available to you.
