We are most grateful to the Walmer Cricket Club B Ladies Darts Team who donated their £150 trophy money to the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy and would like to thank them for their support.
The team chose to support the Centre as a number of team members have been touched by Parkinson’s so they wanted to help fund this ground-breaking Centre in their home county.
Jeanette Howell, League Secretary said: “Some of the team have witnessed first hand how devastating a Parkinson’s diagnosis can be on their loved ones and their families and we wanted to do our bit to help people living in Kent get the additional support they need. The ground-breaking research provided at the Centre will offer hope to so many and we are delighted to come together to help in this way.”
We wish the team well for their next season and thank them once again for their generosity.
