Breakfast Meeting with Chestfield Rotary Club

We were delighted to present to members of Chestfield Rotary Club at their breakfast meeting on Thursday 1st September. The Club welcomed us to Chestfield golf clubhouse, which is a historic building dating back to the 15th century (reported to be one of the oldest clubhouses in the world).

Dr Laura Smith introduced the Parkinson’s Centre to the Club and provided updates on our activities and future plans. Interesting discussions also covered why the incidence of Parkinson’s disease is rising and why people experience Parkinson’s so differently.

Chestfield Rotary Club very generously donated £50 towards the Parkinson’s Centre. We hope to continue working with Chestfield Rotary Club in the near future.
