Research Opportunity

Take part in a research study exploring hidden Parkinson's symptoms

We are inviting people who live with a neurological condition, like Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis, to take part in a research study.

What is the study about?
We want to understand how people experience hidden symptoms which are difficult to observe from the outside such as fatigue, pain, cognitive problems, and changes in mood. The study aims to explore how these symptoms impact daily activities and how people can be better supported to live well for longer.

What does the study involve?
The study involves taking 10-15 photographs which reflect your experiences and writing a
short explanation of why each photograph is meaningful to you. You will be given two
weeks to take the photographs.

If you are interested, you can also participate in a follow-up workshop where we will
discuss the results of the study.

How do I take part?
If you are aged 18 or above and have a neurological condition then you are eligible to take part.

Please contact Dr Laura Smith for further information and to register your interest in taking part:
