Canterbury Legal Walk raises in excess of £21,000 towards the Kent Law Campaign

On Saturday 11th June, over 120 people took part in the second Canterbury Legal Walk, a 10km sponsored walk around the University of Kent’s beautiful Canterbury campus and the city of Canterbury to raise money for the Kent Law Campaign. We would like to thank our many walkers including local judges, barristers, law firms, alumni, staff, students and friends of the University for taking part and raising over £21,000. Thank you also to all our volunteers who helped to make the day so successful and to KTV for covering the day. You can view their coverage online.

The Canterbury Legal Walk is organised by the University of Kent and raises funds for the Kent Law Clinic which provides free legal advice and representation to members of the local community who need but cannot afford access to legal services. It is one of a series of fundraising walks held throughout England and Wales and takes place annually.
