The same video is also available <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/zn-0cV26DI4\">here<\/a> on the YouTube channel of the video producing company <a href=\"https:\/\/sciani.com\/\">Science Animated (SciAni)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"kent-video-wrapper\"><span class='embed-youtube' style='text-align:center; display: block;'><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='1140' height='672' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qnB6mmVoJ7Q?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen='true'><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>The video is the third of a series of animated videos iCSS has produced, after the first one \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_ogdRNNIt2Y\">How to be a cyber superhero<\/a><\/strong>\u201d for educating children about cyber security career pathways was released in November 2022 (see <a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/cyber\/news\/?article=3396\">here<\/a> for a news article), and the second one \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/RCvSaiCgFeg\">Why cyber security matters for everyone?<\/a><\/strong>\u201d released in November 2023 (see <a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/cyber\/news\/?article=213\">here<\/a> for a news article). All the three videos are released on YouTube as free e-resources for all to use for their own cyber security awareness activities.<\/p>\n<div class=\"kent-video-wrapper\"><span class='embed-youtube' style='text-align:center; display: block;'><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='1140' height='672' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_ogdRNNIt2Y?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen='true'><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"kent-video-wrapper\"><span class='embed-youtube' style='text-align:center; display: block;'><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='1140' height='672' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RCvSaiCgFeg?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen='true'><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>The new video was co-produced by iCSS and <a href=\"https:\/\/kmcc-uk.org\/\">KMCC (Kent &amp; Medway Cyber Cluster)<\/a>, with support from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncsc.gov.uk\/cyberfirst\">CyberFirst programme of NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ukc3.co.uk\/\">UKC3 (UK Cyber Cluster Collaboration)<\/a> and Kent and Medway\u2019s local TV station <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/kmtv\">KMTV<\/a>. The video\u2019s producers and directors are the iCSS Director <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hooklee.com\/\">Professor Shujun Li<\/a> and SciAni, a company dedicated to producing animated videos to facilitate scientific communications with the general public. A number of cyber professionals including iCSS researchers and KMCC members contributed to the creation of the video: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/computing\/people\/3056\/arief-budi\">Dr Budi Arief<\/a> (iCSS), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/engineering\/people\/664\/covaci-alexandra\">Dr Alexandra Covaci<\/a> (iCSS), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/bogdan-georgescu\/\">Bogdan Georgescu<\/a> (KMCC), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/computing\/people\/3183\/franqueira-virginia\">Dr Virginia Franqueira<\/a> (iCSS), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/computing\/people\/3103\/nurse-jason\">Dr Jason Nurse<\/a> (iCSS), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/rrstarnes\/\">Richard Starnes<\/a> (KMCC), and <a href=\"https:\/\/tianyangzhou.com\/\">Dr Oscar Zhou<\/a> (iCSS).<\/p>\n<p>iCSS is the University of Kent\u2019s university-wide hub for cyber security research and education. Based on its 80+ academics from across all ten academic schools, iCSS coordinates a wide range of cyber security related activities, including research, education, innovation, school outreach, business and public engagement, wider awareness raising and skills development. iCSS represents the University of Kent as an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncsc.gov.uk\/information\/ace-cse-gold-and-silver-awards\">Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education (ACE-CSE)<\/a> with the Gold Award status and an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncsc.gov.uk\/articles\/academic-centres-excellence-cyber-security-research\">Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research (ACE-CSR)<\/a>, both recognised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncsc.gov.uk\/\">National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC, part of the GCHQ)<\/a> until 2028.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-441\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/cyber-institute-news\/files\/2026\/03\/ACE-GOLD-New-Kings-Crown-Sept-25.png\" alt=\"ACE-CSE logo - 2026 new with King's crown\" width=\"2280\" height=\"466\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-319\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/cyber-institute-news\/files\/2024\/10\/6.6734_NCSC_NCSC-and-EPSRC_Logo_FINAL.png\" alt=\"ACE-CSR\" width=\"3308\" height=\"549\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kmcc-uk.org\/\">KMCC (Kent &amp; Medway Cyber Cluster)<\/a> was founded in 2023 as the sole local cyber security cluster in the Kent and Medway region, recognised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/ukc3.co.uk\/\">UKC3 (UK Cyber Cluster Collaboration)<\/a> as part of a national scheme funded by the DSIT (Department for Science, Innovation and Technology).
