Two students who were studying at a BSc in Computer Science (Cyber Security) degree at University of Kent’s School of Computing won Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) Student of the Year 2024 awards.
Luca de Rosa is the winner of CIISec Student Project of the Year Award 2024 (bachelor course). Luca graduated with First Class Honours in BSc in Computer Science (Cyber Security), and achieved the highest mark for his final project “What are the consequences of open-source penetration testing tools?” under the supervision of Dr Budi Arief.
Abdulqodir Usmanali is the winner of the CIISec Best Student of the Year Award 2024 (bachelor course). Abdulqodir completed his second year of study of the BSc in Computer Science (Cyber Security) and achieved the highest mark of the course for that level.
