Please email her at <a href=\"mailto:dmstaff@kent.ac.uk\">dmstaff@kent.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008080\">Advice<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Students can get free, impartial advice on a wide range of topics from the <a href=\"https:\/\/kentunion.co.uk\/here-for-you\/advice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kent Union Advice Centre<\/a>.\n<ul>\n<li>The advice service covers topics such as\n<ul>\n<li>immigration,<\/li>\n<li>finances,<\/li>\n<li>student loans,<\/li>\n<li>housing,<\/li>\n<li>employment,<\/li>\n<li>and others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Term time drop-ins are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 10.00 \u2013 12.30 and 13.30 and 16.00.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>For advice on university-sponsored students and visa requirements you can contact the Student Immigration Team by email at <a href=\"mailto:visacompliance@kent.ac.uk\">visacompliance@kent.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/criminology\/kcg-ad-valvas\/academic-support-development\/\">employment can be found here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008080\">Finance<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>There is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/finance-student\/calculators\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online budgeting calculator.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>There is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/guides\/emergency-funding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">information on emergency funding<\/a> which may be useful to students in financial crisis.<\/li>\n<li>Students will need to contact the finance team for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/guides\/finance-contacts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fee payment queries<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008080\">Housing<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Student can contact<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/accommodation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> the Accommodation Team<\/a> if they are having issues with on campus accommodation.<\/li>\n<li>Students can get support for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/student-services\/college-and-community-life\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Household Dispute from the Colleges and Community Life team.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The KU Advice Centre can offer <a href=\"https:\/\/kentunion.co.uk\/here-for-you\/advice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advice on housing and accommodation issues<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If students require <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/student-services\/college-and-community-life\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advice about living on campus or out in the community<\/a> they can contact the Colleges and Community life team who will be able to help.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/criminology\/kcg-ad-valvas\/\"><span style=\"color: #999999\"><em>Back<\/em><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Care Leavers Students who are care leavers can find information on available support HERE.
