This year&#8217;s event was sponsored and hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.girlings.com\/solicitors-canterbury\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Girlings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lilyscommunity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lily&#8217;s Social Kitchen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-527\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/conferencesandevents\/files\/2025\/04\/Sandra-joins-Canterbury-BIDs-litter-pick.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"850\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event started off with breakfast at Lily&#8217;s Social Kitchen,\u00a0a local not-for-profit which is doing amazing work providing employment and training to people with neurodiversity and learning difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>After a delicious breakfast, everyone headed out into the fresh spring air and got stuck into cleaning the streets of Canterbury.<\/p>\n<p>The annual litter pick is a great way to network with other businesses whilst sprucing up our city.
