{"id":21,"date":"2023-03-18T10:08:05","date_gmt":"2023-03-18T10:08:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/conferencesandevents\/?p=21"},"modified":"2024-01-24T15:14:19","modified_gmt":"2024-01-24T15:14:19","slug":"raising-funds-for-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/conferencesandevents\/2023\/03\/18\/raising-funds-for-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"Raising funds for Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">A fundraising dinner for the Canterbury 4 Ukraine charity, helping\u00a0to support them\u00a0with the services they provide, which support Ukrainian families in Canterbury and the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the event was to connect the local community and University of Kent staff members to fundraise for Canterbury 4 Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception at 6.30pm. Tickets to the event included a delicious\u00a0three-course meal, provided by Darwin&#8217;s exceptional chefs and catering staff. Live music was performed by several of the University&#8217;s talented music groups as well as the Canterbury Ukrainian Choir.
