On Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 June we attended The Meetings Show at the ExCeL in London and enjoyed networking with others from across the events industry.
This year’s event had a particular focus on sustainability and how we are doing as an industry. The organisers asked the exhibitors to bear that in mind when planning their stands and giveaways so we could all contribute to making this event as sustainable as possible.
Sandra and Caroline exhibited at the event and were able to make new connections and showcase the range of venues we have available at the University of Kent.
The team had a table on the Meeting Industry Association’s (MIA) stand and sat alongside other association members such as Hever Castle, The Brewery and many more.
Megan joined the team on Wednesday to help out with the stand, get inspiration for our marketing and attended talks around sustainability and event marketing trends for this year.
On the Wednesday evening, Sandra also attended the hosted buyers dinner at the prestigious ME London hotel, The Strand with Covent Garden.
