On Monday 17 June we were delighted to welcome colleagues and students from Kherson State University in Ukraine to our Canterbury campus for a networking event.
Taking place in the Rutherford Dining Hall, guests, staff and students enjoyed refreshments and cake while being entertained by a moving performance of song and dance. We also heard an engaging presentation from our guests, describing the many challenges they have faced as well as their appreciation of our twinning partnership.
The University of Kent have been collaborating with Kherson State University since June 2022 as part of the UK and Ukraine Twinning Initiative. We’re looking forward to hosting more events with them in the future.
