A fundraising dinner for the Canterbury 4 Ukraine charity, helping to support them with the services they provide, which support Ukrainian families in Canterbury and the surrounding areas.
The aim of the event was to connect the local community and University of Kent staff members to fundraise for Canterbury 4 Ukraine.
Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception at 6.30pm. Tickets to the event included a delicious three-course meal, provided by Darwin’s exceptional chefs and catering staff. Live music was performed by several of the University’s talented music groups as well as the Canterbury Ukrainian Choir. An auction and a raffle were also held in aid of Canterbury for Ukraine’s (C4U) extraordinary and vital work. Stuart Ross led as our brilliant auctioneer and Ben Roddy led as our Master of Ceremonies.
The event was well attended with 136 guests in attendance, we had a variety of people in attendance from several different organisations and businesses.
The event proved to be a huge success, raising over £6000 for Canterbury 4 Ukraine.
