The Apprenticeship Guide Awards 2026 brought together a record-breaking number of attendees this year, celebrating excellence in UK apprenticeships.
We were really proud to attend as finalists for Best University for Apprenticeships, representing the University of Kent alongside so many brilliant organisations.
It was a great evening and a chance to step away from the day-to-day and take in the bigger picture, seeing the people, partnerships and programmes that are making a real difference to learners and employers across the country.
We also had a lovely moment catching up with one of our employer partners, Catapult, who were nominated for an award too. It’s always great to see our partners recognised in this way!
Being a finalist was a significant achievement in itself and reflects the work of everyone involved in our apprenticeship programmes. For over a decade, the University of Kent has been delivering high-quality provision, working with both national and regional organisations to support learners in developing their skills and progressing in their careers.
While we didn’t come away with the award this time, we left feeling proud to be recognised and inspired by what’s happening across the sector.
