The team developed informal networks and influenced existing approaches to work through the Faculty Learning &amp; Teaching Forum, Student Reps meetings and other initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/files\/2014\/05\/Butterfly-etakes-flight-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3846 alignleft\" style=\"margin-left: 2px;margin-right: 20px;border: 0px none\" alt=\"Butterfly etakes flight 3\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/files\/2014\/05\/Butterfly-etakes-flight-3.jpg\" width=\"322\" height=\"243\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The project became a change &#8216;test-bed&#8217;, with the aim to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Transform the attitudes and values of all staff towards a student-focus;<\/li>\n<li>Transform organisational culture so that the academic community embraces student learning as well as research;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective use of resources through a collaborative approach to the delivery of a quality student experience.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Associated with this efforts, the University developed new approaches to Leadership, Mentoring\u00a0 and Development. The project became a testbed for developing organisational change. We now have 100 articles and commentaries on this site which we encourage you to explore. The re-branded &#8216;<em><strong>Change Academy Networks<\/strong><\/em>&#8216; aims to open an informal dialogue between colleagues and with external contacts to stimulate ideas and developments across several themes (e.g. <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/category\/leadership-2\/\">Leadership,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/category\/principles\/\">Ch<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/category\/principles\/\">ange Principles,\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/category\/service-excellence\/\">Excellence, <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/category\/communication\/http:\/\/\">Communication, <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/category\/learning-teaching\/\">Learning &amp; Teaching, <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/change-academy\/category\/research\/\">Research)<\/a> which address the major issues of current interest within the HE sector.
