Every country has their holiday traditions, and this time it was our turn to introduce our lovely International students to what the UK has to offer in winter. No, mince pies are not made out of minced savoury meat but sweet fruits! Crackers are not like cookies, in this case at least, and Xmas pudding isn’t a squishy chocolate sweet.
Our international friends were there to help and explain all while our students enjoyed some lovely free treats during a stressful time at uni. As we ate, we also learned about what people do in other countries to celebrate Xmas and other holidays. Keep an eye out for next year’s celebrations!
