Discover more on Kent Creative Industries Day! Join us on Zoom
We’d like to invite you and your students to join us on Zoom from 10.00 – 13.00 BST on Thursday 24 June for Kent Creatives Industries Day, an exciting online event we’ve devised to help young people progress into a career in the creative industries.
We’ll begin with a talk on how to land your first job in the creative sector. Your students will also be able to sample innovative online taster sessions and workshops (via breakout rooms) in areas that include:
- digital design
- social media and journalism
- creative marketing
- employability in the music industry
These sessions will be led by University of Kent academics from the Centre for Journalism, the School of Arts, the School of Engineering and Digital Arts, and Kent Business School.
We’ll also introduce a thought-provoking range of university progression pathways. And we’ll be engaging students in discussions about the diverse range of career options available to them within the sector.
Book now!
Limited spaces for this event are available – contact outreach@kent.ac.uk to book places for your students. School groups are welcome to book and ‘beam’ the sessions into the classroom, but students will still be required to complete a booking form individually.
