Join Centre for Journalism staff, students and alumni for an evening of livestreamed information and entertainment about the world of journalism and TV production. Our first Virtual Open Day will be streamed live on Youtube on Tuesday October 15 at 6.30pm.
Hosted by KMTV’s Louisa Britton and Keilan Webster – both graduates of the CfJ – the live event aims to show prospective students and parents what life in this busy department is like, explain the admissions process, and demonstrate with real case studies the kinds of careers that can lie ahead. We’ll be looking in detail at our accredited BA, MA and Year in Journalism programmes, and previewing our brand new Television and Digital Video Production undergraduate programme that starts in 2020.
Former students joining us to talk about their careers include Boglarka Kosztolanyi, producer for Euronews NBC; Emma Rae Woodhouse, output producer for Sky News; Amy Nickalls, news editor of KentOnline; and Oliver Kemp, Facebook community reporter for the KM Group.
