Pearl Okungbowa graduated from The University of Kent in 2022 and has secured a role as a medical writer with Ashfield Medical Communications.

Pearl was connected with the SafetyNet+ Scheme by the Careers and Employability Service.

 

Original Status: Pearl was not currently working or studying when she joined our career coaching
support. Pearl sough support to help her secure her dream graduate role as a medical writer.

Support Provided: Support was initially provided for a CV review with an experienced career coach.
Guidance was also given about where to search for roles and how to make speculative applications.
As Pearl was already progressing to the latter stages of the recruitment process, coaching focused on
preparing for assessment centres and interviews to build Pearl’s confidence to secure the role.
