{"id":682,"date":"2011-11-01T08:54:59","date_gmt":"2011-11-01T08:54:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/cantusfirmus\/?p=682"},"modified":"2011-11-01T08:54:59","modified_gmt":"2011-11-01T08:54:59","slug":"advent-concert-tickets-now-on-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/cantusfirmus\/2011\/11\/01\/advent-concert-tickets-now-on-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Advent Concert: tickets now on sale!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tickets are now on sale for the Chamber Choir&#8217;s &#8216;<a title=\"View concert details\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/music\/whatson.html?tab=november\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Music for Advent<\/strong><\/a>&#8216; concert at the church ot St. Cosmus and St. Damian, Blean, on Friday 25 November.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/music\/images\/whats_on\/Autumn%202011\/Chamber%20Choir.jpg\" alt=\"Chamber Choir\" width=\"160\" height=\"120\" \/>As I type, the pile of black tickets rests before me, and is a thing of great beauty, with a silken sheen to the deep black of the card.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to lay hands on one of these <em>objets d&#8217;art<\/em>, or simply want to come to the concert, tickets are \u00a36 (\u00a34 concessions) and are available from the University Music Office (01227 827335) or e-mail musictickets@kent.ac.uk, or from the Church Office (01227 763373).
