Our congratulations to Maria Schiller, who, following the successful defence of her thesis entitled ‘The Implementation of Diversity Policy in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Leeds’, has been awarded a PhD in Migration Studies.<\/p>\n
Maria is currently teaching courses on ‘Theories of Migration, Integration and Citizenship’ and on ‘Immigrant Integration and Incorporation’ at the Brussels School of International Studies and taught ‘Migration: Conflict, the State and Human Rights’, in September.<\/p>\n
Maria’s examiners were Professor John Eade, University of Roehampton and Dr Miri Song, University of Kent, and her supervisors were Dr Amanda Klekowski von Koppenfels, who is currently on sabbatical at Harvard University, and Professor Chris Pickvance.<\/p>\n
