KLS colleague Amanda Perry-Kessaris is working on an amazing project for which she needs some help- details below. I’ll be damned if, after hearing the initial results, the BSIS community cannot be fired up to provide Amanda with at least 20 more language versions of ‘I am excited to move to the city, but I’m nervous because I don’t know anyone.’ Go on, it will take you all of three minutes, and I know you’re out there in Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Azeri… and I haven’t even gotten to the B yet.<\/p>\n

Thanks to all of you who helped with this. I got Cantonese, French, Greek. Malay, Mandarin, Norwegian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish and Thai.<\/p>\n
I asked permission from Mercury-Award nominated singer Sam Lee to add it audio of an impromptu performance of his song \u2018Goodbye My Darling\u2019. Amazingly, he said yes.<\/p>\n

I am currently working on a graphic design project about individuals and communities in cities and I would be so grateful for your help: won’t you please record, for example as an iPhone voice memo, in any language other than English, the equivalent of the following:<\/p>\n
