Just a quick reminder about the Patron Driven Acquisition exercise \u2013 where you make the decisions about the books we buy . So far you have purchased 50 electronic books for the online library and accessed 158 short term loans of some really interesting titles which is fantastic news.<\/p>\n
Please continue to search for books you need for your research using the process below so that we can continue to extend our online library in a way that is tailored to your research requirements.
\nIf you can’t find the e-book you need on LibrarySearch:
\n1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Log into the EBL platform with your University of Kent username and password.
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Browse or search for the electronic book you would like to access either by author, title or keyword.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Click on the book to access it and start reading: if you access an e-book not already owned by the University of Kent this will initially trigger a 1 day electronic loan of the title.
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0If you or another Brussels student later access the same e-book it will be automatically purchased and permanently added to the University of Kent catalogue to the benefit of everyone at the University.
\nThere is no cost to you as a student so please make the most of this opportunity to develop the electronic library collection.
