Dear staff and students<\/p>\n
The task of moving to new premises is immense and with a reduced number of administrative staff available we are looking for volunteers from the academic staff as well as from PhD and masters students to help.<\/p>\n
Volunteers are needed from Mon 13 Apr to Fri 24 Apr, although we may be finished much earlier if all goes well.<\/p>\n
Before move
\nUnplugging and preparing all PCs and telephone.
\nStacking chairs and furniture
\nLabelling furniture.
\nLabelling and stacking boxes.
\nPacking audio-visual equipment.
\nPacking the Shelf including periodicals in the student room and photocopy room.
\nPacking the kitchen and crockery store.
\nPacking the administrative office.
\nPacking the stationary and stock room.
\nDisposing of rubbish.<\/p>\n
During and after move
\nEnsuring boxes and furniture are placed in the correct location by the removals firm.
\nUnpacking boxes.
\nSetting up all PCs and telephones.
\nAdjusting furniture to correct positions.<\/p>\n
