with the support of the LLP Programme of the European Union<\/p>\n
We have the pleasure to invite you to a major conference on ‘EU-Russia relations: which way forward?’, to be held at the Royal Flemish Academy in Brussels on 2-3rd February 2015.<\/p>\n
This conference is organised in the framework of a Jean Monnet Multilateral Research Group on EU-Russia relations, formed by four partner universities: University of Kent, Carleton University, St. Petersburg State University and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.<\/p>\n
The conference will be the first major event of its kind since the unfolding of the crisis over Ukraine. It brings high-level diplomats (including Russian Ambassador Chizhov and EEAS Director Wiegand) and researchers together to reflect on EU-Russia relations. Apart from\u00a0 current political developments, four key themes will be dealt with: energy, minority policies, regional integration and the role of multilateralism.<\/p>\n
