Please read this email carefully.<\/p>\n<p>Early next week we will write to the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences asking him to ratify the results of the Board and then this signed authority will be sent to the Congregations Office for formal processing.\u00a0 Successful candidates will be contacted (or have already been contacted) directly by the Congregations Office at their address found within the Student Data System to determine whether they wish to attend the award ceremony or not.\u00a0 Please make sure that you have checked your name details and address in the Student Data System.<\/p>\n<p>Transcripts<\/p>\n<p>Once the formal authority of the Dean is signed and lodged with the Congregations Office, a digital transcript will be made available to you through My Transcript on the Student Data system.\u00a0 At the congregation ceremony you will receive your degree certificate together with a hallmarked transcript.\u00a0 Those unable to attend will receive their certificate in the post at the address held in the Student Data System but only after the congregation has taken place.<\/p>\n<p>Graduation<\/p>\n<p>The next Graduation ceremony will be on Friday 21 November 2014 in Canterbury Cathedral at 7.15pm.\u00a0 Details regarding graduation, gown hire, timings, tickets etc can be found by going to the website at http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/congregations\/\u00a0 and all related enquires should be addressed to congregations@kent.ac.uk.\u00a0 Students attending the ceremony are allowed a maximum of 2 guest tickets.\u00a0 This is because the design of the cathedral only allows that number of people to have a guaranteed, good and unimpeded view of the event.\u00a0 Additional tickets may be purchased through the Congregations Office but the seating will not be with the other two guests.\u00a0 Otherwise you might wish to collaborate with a friend who has less than 2 guests attending.\u00a0 Details about tickets can be found on the Congregations website.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a lunch for all of those graduating and their families on Friday 21 November 2014 from 14h in The Cricketers pub in Canterbury.\u00a0 If you plan to attend please register by sending an email to i.j.summers@kent.ac.uk before 7 Nov 2014 indicating the number of people.\u00a0 Additional details will be provided on the Student News page and on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes<\/p>\n<p>The Board of Examiners awarded the following prizes for 2014<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The John Macgregor Prize &#8211;
