Deadline is Friday the 17th.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Joint Alumni Reunion and Networking Event is October 23rd<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0CV and Cover Letter workshop next Thursday from 14:00-16:00<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0You can book specialized career sessions with Marta, Elizabeth, Martine, Lara, Olaf and Nadine (attached you can find their slots and their profiles)<\/p>\n<p>Kind regards<br \/>\nMona<br \/>\nDETAILS- PLEASE READ:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Business cards<\/p>\n<p>BSIS will sponsor business cards for the September and new PhD students. Please note that those who have already received cards, cannot order again.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for entering your information for the business cards is Friday the 17th of October.<\/p>\n<p>To make collecting your information easier, I would like to ask you to sign up with the following link:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/key2advance.com\/equipment.php\/cards<\/p>\n<p>Please double check that all the information is correct before submitting the form, since the print shop will copy\/paste all the data entries to make your cards. (pay attention to capitalization of letters, special spelling, spacing between numbers and symbols). If you would like to polish your CV and give it a competitive edge, whilst still being authentic, feel free to join me this Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>*** Please bring two paper copies of your CV (if you can)!<\/p>\n<p>9 out of 10 Cover Letters are considered below average!<br \/>\nCome find out how to make yours belong to the best! After having studied the most compelling cover letters, the workshop highlights strategies which guide the applicant towards making his\/her arguments more powerful. Particular importance is given to the verbs\/tone\/message and the shifting of the writer&#8217;s perceptual position (to that of the reader).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Specialised career advice sessions<br \/>\nkey2advance now has 6 experts in their field offering BSIS students more focused career advice. To read up on their profiles, please see the attached document.<br \/>\nOnly those who have not had a 45 minute session yet, can book a meeting with my colleagues, since every student is entitled to only one session for the duration of their academic year.<br \/>\nTo book a meeting, you can select an advisor and then pick a date\/time. All of these sessions will take place at the university with the exception of those meeting Nadine since these will take place after working hours.
