Students spend one year at the Brussels School of International Studies before moving to another global capital to broaden their understanding of international studies.<br \/>\nTwo Capitals, Two Masters is a new and innovative double Master\u2019s program, designed to offer students the opportunity to study, train, and network in Brussels before moving to, for example, Washington D.C. or Beijing.<\/p>\n<p>Study in Brussels and Washington D.C.<br \/>\nThe Two Capitals Programme in Washington DC is based on exchange agreements with Virginia Tech and George Mason University.<br \/>\nThe programme consists of the following:<br \/>\nOne year of study at the Brussels School of International Studies (BSIS): You apply for an MA from the following specializations:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0International Relations<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0International Conflict and Security<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0International Political Economy<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0European Public Policy<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0International Development<br \/>\nAfter successfully completing your MA at BSIS, you then go on to study one year at Virginia Tech, National Capital Region in Alexandria (VT-NCR): You enrol in the Master\u2019s in Public and International Affairs (MPIA).<br \/>\nAt the end of two years, you earn an MA from The University of Kent (BSIS), and an MPIA from Virginia Tech!<\/p>\n<p>How do you apply?<br \/>\nYou submit an online application to BSIS by going to our website <a href=\"www.kent.ac.uk\/brussels\">www.kent.ac.uk\/brussels<\/a>. Select your programme of interest (one of the five listed above) and then click on the link after \u201cApply online now\u201d.<br \/>\nFurther information on our general entry requirements can be found here:\u00a0 http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/brussels\/studying\/admissions\/requirements.html<br \/>\nWe would advise you to submit a detailed personal statement, indicating that you are interested in the Two Capitals programme.<br \/>\nYou will be expected to have completed the taught courses of your chosen programme at BSIS and have achieved an average of a Merit before applying for one of the exchanges as part of the Two Capitals Programme.
