This has an impact on the very notion of human security, i.e. political, economic or social security of states and their citizens.\u00a0 While these challenges bear many risks and create uncertainty they might also be an opportunity for a transition into a better world. During the conference we want to discuss some of the many challenges as well as the changes, threats and opportunities they bring. Thereby, we are also interested in the EU\u2019s role and its existing approaches to counter these challenges and changes.<\/p>\n<p>We have invited experts from EU institutions, International Organizations, NGO\u2019s and Think Tanks participating in panel discussions.
