Dear all (or those of you submitting dissertation proposals on Friday),<\/p>\n

Just a quick follow-up to Francesca’s email below on a few points, and in reference to a few questions I have had:<\/p>\n

Yes, a hard copy should be submitted as well. The official deadline is the Moodle submission (Friday, March 28; 3 PM), and the hard copy can be submitted later (but please no later than Monday, March 31). The Moodle proposals should be submitted here: https:\/\/moodle.kent.ac.uk\/moodle\/mod\/turnitintool\/view.php?id=248150<\/a><\/p>\n

As you know, there are now sample dissertation proposals available on FDR Moodle, but I would suggest that you not lose track of the overall guidelines, available here: https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/brussels\/current\/practical\/coursework.html?&tab=dissertations <\/a>. It is also very helpful (to you, and to your supervisor) if you give an indication of the number of words you think you will need for each chapter.<\/p>\n

I would just like to clarify the following deadlines:<\/p>\n

Friday 21 March, 12h00:\u00a0 dissertation submission for January\u00a0 2013 students.<\/p>\n

Friday 28 March 15h00: dissertation proposal for September 2013 students.<\/p>\n

In both cases, students who have technical problems with Moodle upload have to notify the office immediately and send the electronic file to ukboffice@kent.ac.uk.<\/p>\n
