This INCLUDES footnotes but EXCLUDES Bibliography and Appendices. This applies to both Politics and Law students.<\/p>\n<p>For dissertations, the word limit\/goal is 14,000 words for Politics dissertations and 15-20,000 words for Law dissertations. As for papers, the word count INCLUDES footnotes but EXCLUDES Bibliography and Appendices (such as the text of an EU Directive that you have included).<\/p>\n<p>Hope this answers your concerns. The above policy should be consistent with any other sources.
