PhD researcher, Mark Gilks, has published an article in Critical Studies on Terrorism

Mark Gilks has published the article ‘The security-prejudice nexus: “Islamist” terrorism and the structural logics of Islamophobia in the UK’ in Critical Studies on Terrorism.

The article explores the relationship between security and prejudice; it first examines this relationship conceptually by drawing on critical approaches to security, and then empirically by examining institutional discourse and practice in the UK in 2017.
