To print using the new colour printers, send your document in the normal manner and then swipe your card on either machine. You will then see a menu that allows you to either release your documents to be printed or to access other services such as scanning or photocopying. In this way your printing will only come out when you are present, and you can choose which printer you want to use. Any documents not released for printing will be deleted overnight. There is no longer any need to enter a PIN to use the print services, so please look after your Kent ID card.
