Burston Marsteller consultant lectures on Interest Representation

Mr. Peter Linton, senior consultant with Burston Marsteller delivers a guest lecture this week on Interest Representation as part of the Political Communication module, convened by Dr NoelleAnne O’Sullivan.

Peter Linton has years of experience in lobbying on behalf of governments, NGOs, corporations and associations, and will present several case studies to illustrate B-M’s approach.

His work with the “European Internet Foundation” (www.EIFonline.org), brought together elected politicians, ICT sector and civil society leaders to share understanding, and experience of the digital revolution’s impact on European societies and political systems.

As a co-founder of the highly influential Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN, ) in 1993, Linton has likewise become deeply involved in the development of political thinking in Europe on recasting Europe/U.S. relations to respond to new common challenges in the post cold-war world. The TPN laid the foundation for the current TTIP Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership trade agreement between the EU and the US.
