The European Parliament released at the end of October 2021 a new policy report on sustainability.
As a member of the expert committee, Dr Albena Azmanova made sure social justice also addressed the phenomenon of generalized precarity (Azmanova’s pet topic) and not only inequality — this allows a shift away from the growth-and-redistribution formula of social justice, thereby making it compatible with environmental justice.
