The Board of Trustees of the Bonn International Centre for Conversion (BICC) decided on 15 June 2021 to appoint Dr Yvan Guichaoua as member of the BICC International Board for three years.
The Board consists of ten internationally renowned personalities from academia, politics and civil society. the Board advises BICC on matters of research and policy.
As an independent, non-profit organisation, BICC deals with a wide range of global topics in the field of peace and conflict research. Their mission is a more peaceful world. Their mission is to conduct critical, problem-oriented, policy relevant research in response to the problems posed by organised violence. To do so, they engage in active exchanges with scholars and politicians as well as stakeholders in everyday practice and civil society. As a think tank, BICC seeks to engage in a dialogue with NGOs, governments, private organisations, research institutes and universities as well as with interested individuals.
