Update on September 2020 from the Dean for Europe

The Brussels School of International Studies is looking forward to welcoming both returning and new students in September 2020.

Due to our small class sizes and modern teaching facilities, we intend to deliver the majority of our interdisciplinary postgraduate programmes face-to-face whilst keeping the required distance and in line with Belgian regulations.  In the few cases where restrictions prevent in-person teaching, those courses will be delivered on-line, but these will be the exception. In all cases, we will not compromise the high-quality of our teaching, learning and experiences of students.

The health, safety and well-being of our students and staff remains our top priority. In the event of new emergency measures being required by the Belgian government, we are prepared to move all courses seamlessly to full online delivery.

All lectures will be recorded, thus enabling late arrivals, for instance, due to mandatory quarantine or travel delay, the ability to catch up.  We also offer new students the opportunity to defer their entry to January 2021, if they wish.

Our location in Brussels continues to offer students opportunities for networking, jobs and internships as well as engagement with both European and global institutions.

We look forward to seeing our returning students in September, as well as welcoming students from all over the world into our community.
