Completing a PhD viva virtually has become the norm during these times. Passing this defence of a PhD is a great achievement and we’d like to say congratulations to Nadja Dumann, who has passed her viva, and whose examiners have recommended the award of her PhD “Navigating Between Structure and Agency: Moroccan Independent Youth Migration”.
Nadja has been a big part of BSIS, first completing her master’s in International Migration before going onto the PhD.
Her supervisors were Dr. Amanda Klekowski von Koppenfels and Dr. Bojan Savic.
Examiners were Dr. Lucy Williams (University of Kent) and Dr. Francesco Vacchiano (Universidad de Lisboa)
