Dr Maria Mälksoo will participate in an European International Studies Association’s Exploratory Symposium ‘Performing World Politics through Rituals’ in Rapallo, 31-October -3 November. The symposium is convened by Prof. Tanja Aalberts (VU Amsterdam) and Prof. Anna Leander (The Graduate Institute, Geneva). This exploratory workshop is aimed at consolidating an emerging research network collaborating around the study of performing of world politics through a wide range of rituals. The first meeting of the network took place at the European Workshops in International Studies in Groningen in June 2018.
