We are in the 4th day of the 5th BSIS summer school and this year we have welcomed 28 students to the School.
The group have taken part in some stimulating discussions on migration, EU Foreign Policy, and European Insecurities. We are delighted to welcome guest speakers such as MEP Richard Ashworth (who gave the students a tour of the European Parliament), Frederic Schwandt from the EEAS and Professor Richard Whitman. Today the students are receiving training on internships, the international job market and CV design. The idea is to inspire students to think about the different careers and job opportunities in Brussels and how you can locate these on the hidden job market.
Tomorrow the students will visit Mons for a tour of the Battlefields of World War One and beyond. The group will be led by former BSIS academic Dr Michael Palo and his wife Martine Delsemme.
It’s a privilege to welcome such a motivated group of students at BSIS and we look forward to seeing some return for their MA or LLM degree!
