Dr Maria Mälksoo will participate at the European Workshops in International Studies (EWIS) at the University of Groningen on 6-9 June 2018. She will present a paper ‘The Ritual Performance of Deterrence: NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Alliance’s Eastern Flank’ at the workshop Performing World Politics through Rituals (convened by Prof Tanja Aalberts and Prof Anna Leander).
