At BSIS we have recently been made aware of an online resource available to all University of Kent students called ‘Big White Wall’. This is online support, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for issues relating to wellbeing and mental health.
Big White Wall is a UK-based organisation that is recommended by the National Health Service (NHS). The University of Kent has a contract so that all registered students can access the support free of charge.
If you would like to find out more, please follow this link which takes you to the relevant pages of the University of Kent Student Support and Wellbeing department website: http://blogs.kent.ac.uk/staff-student-news/2017/12/01/online-mental-health-and-wellbeing-support-for-students/
Don’t forget that if you have an issue that you would like to discuss with someone you can also contact the Student Support and Wellbeing team in Canterbury directly, and/or speak to a member of staff at BSIS including your Programme Director, Director of Graduate Studies, Academic Director and members of the Professional Services Team.
