Come see what will be a great guest lecture on Thursday at 1:30. Professor Paul Allain, Dean of the Graduate School, will be speaking about “The Digital Performer”. This is a GSA lecture, and of course open to all. More information is on the GSA bulletin board, but in brief:
This lively lecture explores what it means to be a digital performer today, re-evaluating how we experience and view liveness in our increasingly mediated world. Audiences are challenged in this lecture to experience ‘liveness’ in a new way.
I’ve heard it before, and I’ll be going again – it’s a fun talk.
