We are delighted that Professor Nina Jørgensen is spending part of her sabbatical with us in Brussels. A Professor of Law in the Law Faculty of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she specializes in Public International Law and International Criminal Justice. Jørgensen previously worked for eight years in different capacities (prosecution, judges’ chambers, defence) at the Special Court for Sierra Leone in Freetown and The Hague, the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia in Phnom Penh, and the International Criminal Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda in The Hague and Arusha respectively. At BSIS, she will be working on her book project, entitled The Right Time for International Criminal Justice.
